Dear collegues,

 

The Association for Library Collections and Technical Services which is a division of the American Library Association accepts applications for the Award Course Online program for library professionals from developing countries including Kyrgyzstan.

It offers one of the following on-line courses:

 

1) Fundamentals of Acquisitions (FOA)   August 10 - September 4 - course description
2) Fundamentals of Electronic Resources Acquisitions (FERA)  August 10 - September 4 - course description
3) Fundamentals of Collection Development and Management (FCDM)   August 3 - August 28 - course description
 
Everything is done online. Participants must be English-speakers and experienced in PC as well as have a high-speed Internet connection.

Each session lasts for four weeks. Students who complete the course's requirements successfully will be awarded with a certificate from ALCTS.
All interested may use on-line application form.
Registration will be open until June 5th
