On March 4, 2010 Portback Election Meeting of the Kyrgyz Libraries Information Consortium was held

On March 4, 2010 Portback Election Meeting of the Kyrgyz Libraries Information Consortium was held.

It was on the agenda:

1) Summary report of KLIC President about Association activity during the 2008-2009 years - Battalova S.S.

2) Report of inspection commission - Sarybaeva N.N.

3) Election of new top executives of KLIC for the 2010-2011.

According to the first issue: Summary report of KLIC President S. Battalova was listened. She reported about the main activities of KLIC for the reporting period as well as main results and achievements

Decree: In accordance of report to consider the KLIC activity was good.

According to the second issue: Sarybaeva N. reported about the results of financial inspection.

Decree: In accordance of report to consider the KLIC financial activity was good.

According to the third issue: KLIC Association proudly announces the results of new top executives of KLIC for the 2010-2011 (President, Vice-president, Project coordinator):

- Roza Sultangazieva, Head of State Children and Youth Library, was elected to serve as the KLIC's President,

- Sania Battalova, Head of Library of the American University of Central Asia, was elected to serve as the KLIC's Vice President,

- Liudmila Baklykova, Head of State Patent and Technical Library, was elected to serve as the KLIC's Project Coordinator.

We congratulate our colleagues on their new appointments and wish successful and productive activity.
